You can control Things on your Mac or iPad with keyboard shortcuts.

Things for iPad supports several shortcuts for controlling the app with external, physical keyboards. They are:⌘ Cmd + N: Create a new to-do
⌘ Cmd + 0: Go to Inbox
⌘ Cmd + 1: Go to Today
⌘ Cmd + 2: Go to Next
⌘ Cmd + 3: Go to Scheduled
⌘ Cmd + 4: Go to Someday
⌘ Cmd + 5: Go to Projects
⌘ Cmd + 6: Go to Logbook
