Reinstalling Things

Here’s how to reinstall Things if you’ve already bought it.

Mac
  1. On your Mac, open the Mac App Store to the Purchases tab.
  2. Click INSTALL to the right of Things in your list of purchases.
iPad
  1. On your iPad, open the App Store.
  2. Tap Purchased at the bottom of the App Store.
  3. In Search Purchased Apps, type Things.
  4. Tap the button to the right of Things to install the app.
iPhone
  1. On your iPhone, open the App Store.
  2. Tap Updates at the bottom of the App Store.
  3. Tap Purchased.
  4. Pull down to reveal Search and type Things.
  5. Tap the button to the right of Things to install the app.
Watch

You must first reinstall Things on your iPhone before you can reinstall Things for Apple Watch. Choose the iPhone tab above for instructions.

If Things is installed on your iPhone and you still don’t see Things on your Apple Watch, you can show it again using the Watch app on your iPhone.

Things doesn’t show in Purchases

If you don’t see Things in Purchases in the App Store, try these steps:

  1. Check the Apple ID you are signed it with. You must use the same Apple ID you used to purchase Things.
  2. Make sure you didn’t hide Things from your purchases. Here’s how to check for hidden purchases on your Mac or iOS devices.
  3. If you still don’t see Things, contact Apple Support. Apple handles all purchases from the App Store. They are the only ones who can check your purchase history.

Log back in to Things Cloud

If you were using Things Cloud to keep your to-dos updated across your devices, don’t forget to log back in to your account in order to see your to-dos after reinstalling the app.
