Here’s how you can recover your license for Things for Mac.

If you bought Things for your iPad or iPhone, there’s no license associated with that purchase. You can find out how to reinstall them in this article.

If You Bought Things From Our Website

When you first purchased Things for Mac, we sent you an email with your license code. If you’ve lost it, email us and we’ll search for it in our records; please provide your full name and the email address you used when you first placed your order.

Also, if you’re using Things on a second Mac, you can always see your current license information in the app by going to the menu bar and clicking Things > License…. *

If You Bought Things From the Mac App Store

There’s no license associated with that purchase. You can find out how to reinstall Things from the Mac App Store in this article.

If You Bought Things in a Box

The license for boxed copies is printed on the sleeve of the original CD and is not stored with us. If you’ve lost the sleeve, please contact us with proof of purchase and we’ll help you out.
