Uninstalling the Apps

Here’s how to remove Things from your Mac, iPad, iPhone, or Apple Watch.

Mac
  1. Quit Things on your Mac.
  2. In the Finder, go to your /Applications folder and locate Things.
  3. Drag the app to the Trash on your Dock.
  4. Go to your Trash and empty it.

If you need to remove every Things-related file from your Mac, follow the instructions for a thorough uninstallation.

iPad

If you delete Things from your iPad, all your to-dos will be permanently deleted as well unless you have stored them in Things Cloud.

  1. Locate Things on your iPad.
  2. Touch and hold the app until it starts to wiggle.
  3. Tap the x in the top-left corner of Things.
  4. Tap Delete to remove Things and all of its data.
  5. Press the Home button.
iPhone

If you delete Things from your iPhone, all your to-dos will be permanently deleted as well unless you have stored them in Things Cloud. Things will also be uninstalled from your Apple Watch.

  1. Locate Things on your iPhone.
  2. Touch and hold the app until it starts to wiggle.
  3. Tap the x in the top-left corner of Things.
  4. Tap Delete to remove Things and all of its data.
  5. Press the Home button.
Watch

You can remove Things for Apple Watch via the Watch app on your iPhone.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down towards the bottom to see a list of apps.
  3. Tap Things.
  4. Tap the switch for Show on Apple Watch to turn it off.
